Would you take these numbers over a career?

That's not at all bad, but you cannot just make up numbers wholesale. Averages get wrung out from the raw counting data. This player would have had 6467 at-bats, which leads to lower slugging (.524) and on-base (approximately .365). Those are still pretty good, but distinctly lower.
