DO PEOPLE IN SMALL TOWNS GO TRICK-OR-TREATING?

I live in a small city with many houses and big neighborhoods. You could walk down just one street and collect a garbage bag's worth of candy. I've always wondered if people in small towns go trick-or-treating if the houses are like a gazillion miles apart...
