No, false eyelashes just look...fake. I think since you'll be wearing a ball gown, you should go for an elegant and sophisticated look, not a dramatic look. Just curl your lashes and then apply some mascara (choose a natural-looking one, not a big, dramatic one. I recommend Maybelline Full N Soft mascara because it makes your lashes look and feel soft and natural, not hard and crusty. The Maybelline One by One works good for a natural look as well). And, of course, apply foundation and concealer, a little blush, eyeshadow (natural colors), and a nice deep red lipstick. :)
